很久很久以前，所有的蚯蚓原本很高大很强壮而不像现在这样柔软和细长。他们有眼睛，有鼻子，有耳朵，有手，有脚还有锋利的牙齿，他们并不生活在地底下而像其他动物一样在地表生活。
Long long ago, all the earthworms, big and strong not so tender or slim, had eyes, noses, ears, hands, feet and sharp teeth and they lived not in earth but on earth surface like other ground creatures.
不知从何时起，蚯蚓父母们开始为他们的宝宝担心，因为他们实在是太懒了！
At some point, earthworm parents started to worry about their babies as they were so lazy.
每天清晨，蚯蚓宝宝们睁开眼睛便开始嚷嚷着：
“妈咪，帮我穿衣服、裤子和鞋子！快点，我等不及了！”
“妈咪，我饿了，给我吃的！”
“妈咪，背我！”
“妈咪，我不会做，你帮我！”
“妈咪，思考太累了！”
“妈咪，你为我做所有的事情！”
…
Every morning, baby earthworms opened their eyes and shouted:
“Mummy, help me put on my coat, trousers and shoes! Hurry, I cannot wait!”
“Mummy, I am hungry, take me food!”
“Mummy, carry me with your back!”
“Mummy, I cannot do it, help me!”
“Mummy, it’s so tired to think!”
“Mummy, you do everything for me!”
…
总之，蚯蚓宝宝们什么也不做什么也不学，只是一味地高声抱怨父母太慢而大声哭喊：
“你坏，宝宝的事情妈妈做！”
“你总是唠唠叨叨的！”
“我讨厌你！”
…
In a word, baby earthworms did nothing and learnt nothing other than complaining and crying for late reply of their parents.
