1、运用单词卡片及ppt,帮助学生学习表示公共场所的单词。

2、在用there be 句型描述家所在的位置和周边公共场所时,巩固生词。

能听懂并谈论家所在街区及周边公共场所的句子。

激发学生了解所在社区环境的热情。

1、单词supermarket,restaurant 的拼读及书写。

教学过程:

Step1:Warm up

1、 Greetings.

2、Review. 运用书本第43页下方的图,提问并要求学生说出房间内各种物品的位置。

T:What’s in the room? Ss:There are …。

T:Where is the…? S:It’s …。(设计意图:帮助学生复习已经学过的表示地点的介词和询问物品位置的句型,以旧引新,为本课时的学习做铺垫。)

Step2:Presentation

1、教师拿一张简单的自己家街区的图片,包括本课新授的三个场所。向学生介绍:My home is on…。 There is a …near my home. There are …near my home.(设计意图:通过图片的直观显示,向学生输入本课的新知。)w W w . x K b 1.c o M

2、出示Look and learn 的单词卡片,教学本课的三个新词并板书。

3、运用课本第50页的街区地图,为地图上不同的地点标上英文名称,如supermarket,toy shop,park,restaurant,school等,教师先做示范性的介绍,再让学生根据地图作介绍。。

T:This is Park Street.There is a park on Park Street.

4、教师板书所在学校名,并介绍

T:This is our school.Our school is on…Street.

再写出自己家所在的小区名,向学生介绍

T:This is my home.My home is on…Street.

5、教师就以上内容,向学生提问

T:Where is our school? S1:Our school is on … Street.

T:Where is my home? S2:Your home is on … Street.

Step3:Practice

1、请学生看Draw and say,在画框中画上自己家所在街区的地图,标出路名,街上的餐厅、公园、学校、商店等,完成后,学生互相讨论

2、Pair work: S1: Where is your home? S2: My home is on…

3、请准备好的学生,两人一组,到讲台前说给全班学生听。
