教学目标：
1、能听懂、会说新单词foolish,bull,horn,kill,rubbed,lesson,believe,idea,ugly;
2、能听懂、理解，会说本课故事；
3、模仿句型“These horns are too big.”描述事物特征；
4、教育学生不要轻易相信坏人。

复述本故事。
教学准备：
一张画有一个小朋友倒拿着苍蝇拍拍苍蝇的图、单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带等。
教学过程：
Step 1 Warming up
1、师生问候。
2、唱英语歌“Row your boat”。
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1、教单词lesson。
T：Do you have computer lessons?
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: What time do you have your computer lesson?
Ss: We have our computer lesson on…
T: Who gives you the computer lesson?
Ss: Mr/Miss…
板书并教学单词lesson。
2、教单词kill和foolish。
出示图片，图片上画有一个小朋友拿着一只苍蝇拍准备打苍蝇，但他把苍蝇拍拿倒了。
T: What does he want to do?
帮助学生回答：“He wants kill the fly.”。
板书并教学单词kill。
T：Can he kill it?
Ss: No,he can't.
T（指着小朋友的手）：No, he can't .He is so foolish.
板书并教学单词foolish。
3、出示单词卡片bull，教单词bull和horn。
T：what's this?
帮助学生回答：“It's a bull.”。
板书并教学单词bull。
指着公牛的角。
T: What's this ?
帮助学生回答：“It's a horn.“。
板书并教学单词horn。
T：What's the bull doing? It's rubbing.（做动作示范）
板书并教学单词rub。
Stpe 3 Fast reading and listening
1、出示课文A部分教学挂图。
T：What do you think of the horns?
Ss: They are small.
T: Yes . They are small. They are too small for the bull. Why are the bull's horns so small？
2、快速阅读故事，回答问题。（只要求学生在短文中划出答案。）
Why are the bull's horns so small ?（The bull rubbed his horns against the tree.）
板书并解释短语rub against的含义，帮助学生理解。
3、听课文A部分录音，进一步理解故事大意；模仿其语言、语调，掌握新词难句的读音。
Step 4 intensive reaking
1、精读课文A部分，然后两人一组完成课文C部分练习。
2、再次听课文A部分录音，跟读。
Step 5 consolidation
1、练习（见《练习册》P25-26）
2、家庭作业。
听磁带，背课文。
复述故事。
抄写新单词。
