二、Procedure

(一) Revision

1. Use Picture Cards from SB 1 Unit 11 and SB 2 Unit 9.

Review all Food Picture Cards with Ss.

2. T:(Say as you put cards on the board.) Do you like grapes?

[Ss: Yes!/No.] Do you like cake? (Have Ss answer.)

(二)Presentation

1. Bring green vegetables, fruit, candy. Show them to Ss.

2. T: ( Point to the vegetables.) What color are they? [Ss: They’re green.]

3. Do the same with the rest of the realia.

4. Draw a fat boy and a slim girl on the board.

5. T: ( Point to the food.) what food do you think he/she eats?

(Have Ss point to the food accordingly.)

(三)Drill: Using the book

1. Have Ss look at the page.

2. T: Let’s listen to the tape and read the story.

3. Have Ss follow the dialog by pointing to the sentences in their books.

4. T: (Point to the first picture.) What’s Gogo eating? [Ss: He’s eating an ice cream.]

5. Ask questions about the other pictures.

6. T: Let’s listen to the tape again and repeat.

7. Play the tape, pausing after each expression to have Ss repeat.

(四)Practice

1. Put Ss into pairs and give them the roles of Gogo and Jenny.

2. Encourage Ss to act out the dialog.
