教学过程:

1. Have the pupils look at Task 1 on page 34. If you use the e-resourse, show the task on the screen.

2. Have the pupils look throught the five sentences quickly to get a general idea of the listening text.

3. Tell the pupils that they are about to hear a conversation between Ben and Janet. In the conversation, Janet invites Ben to go to the city museum.

4. Explain the recording all the way through for the pupils to get a general idea of the conversation.

5. Play the recording again, pausing at apprpriate places for the pupils to put down their answers.

6. After the last question, play the recording again for the pupils to check their answers.

7. When the pupils have finished, check the answers with them. For the false statements, guide them to understand why they are false. Ask them to correct those statements.
