教学目标：
1. 能听懂、会说句型：Who’s your math teacher? Mr Zhao. What’s he like? He’s thin and short. He’s very kind.并能在需要时准确、自由地运用。
2.能听懂Let’s try部分的录音，完成正确的选择图片的练习。
3.了解中西方国家称呼人名上的差异。
教学重点：
掌握句型Who’s your math teacher? Mr. Zhao. What’s he like? He’s thin and short. He’s very kind.能在相似的情境中完成替换练习。
教学难点：
帮助学生听录音熟悉新词和新句型，感知连续，失去爆破和弱读等语音现象。初步培养学生的听力技能。
教具准备：
教师照片及人物的图片、单词卡片，教学挂图，录音机及磁带。
预习题纲：
1、复习上一节课所学的新词。
2、两人一组利用句型：Who’s your art teacher ?Mr. Hu. What’s he like? He’s short and thin.结合画有不同外貌特征的图片进行关键词的替换。
3.初读Let’s talk
教学过程：
一、导入新课。
1、口语练习。
A: Good morning/afternoon. Our math teacher is very young. He’s tall and thin.
B: This is our music teacher. She’s young . She’s very funny.
…
2.听Let’s try
反复播放Let’s try 部分的录音，让学生完成练习内容。然后让男女两生重复录音内容。
3、学习Let’s talk
T: Today I bring you two funny friends. Look！（出示手指人MacDonald和 Mickey Mouse）
They are talking about their new teachers. Let’s listen what they are talking about.
（Play the tape）
MacDonald: Hi, who is your math teacher?
Mickey Mouse: Mr. Zhao.
MacDonald: What’s he like?
Mickey Mouse: He’s thin and short. He’s very kind.
听录音两遍。
T: Great, now please open your books at P5, read the same dialogue by yourself, and answer this question: What’s Mr. Zhao like?
学生读对话内容。

两人一组表演对话。
二、 操练
1、两人一组讨论图片中六位老师的外貌特征，然后描述，并上台表演。
对话描述片段

2.让学生出示自制的人物卡片，并对人物进行描述，可利用句型：“Who’s this man/woman? What’s he/she like?”进行操练。
