T: How old are you?

Ss: I’m 10. Nice to see you.

T: Nice to see you, too.

Step 2 Presentation

1. T: We have a new friend today. What’s your name?

Teach the whole class to read the sentence.

2. Use the flags to present China, America, Canada and the sentence pattern:

a. Teacher shows a Chinese flag and introduces: I’m from China.

b. Teacher acts as a travel guide and go to different places. Ss learn the new words: Canada, America.

c. Practice and chant:
