四、教学步骤
Step l Warming up
1．师生问候。
2．值日生报告。
3．创设情景，引导学生复习形容词的比较级与最高级。
4．复述或表演第七单元课文。
Step2 Presentation and drill
1．出示日历，翻到农历五月初五。
T: Look！ Toady is the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Is it the Mid-Autumn Festival?
S：No. It's the Dragon Boat Festival. （引导学生回答）
板书并教学词组lunar month，the Dragon Boat Festival。
T: What do we often do during the Dragon Boat Festival?

鼓励学生大胆回答，帮助学生理解单词during。
2．出示一些粽子。
板书并帮助学生理解单词rice dumplings。
T: Do you like them? I like them very much. They are delicious. Their fillings
are different. There are pork and nuts in them. Which type do you like better?

教师提供主题（the Dragon Boat Festival），学生分组说出与之有关的单词、短语或句子。说得最多且能自圆其说的一组为胜。

1、让学生们快速阅读课文A部分，回答问题。
