Ⅰ。 Warm- up

T shows a clock on the slide, ask them to identify the time. T: What time is it ? S: It’s … T: What are you going to do at four o’clock this afternoon? S: I am going to …

(设计意图; 由复习时间的表达,过渡到What are you going to do at four o’clock in this afternoon ?让学生复习be going to 句型,为进一步灵活运用打下基础)

II.Listen and read.

a. Please underline: be going to

b. Let the Ss find and ask questions about the text. Invite their friends to answer them .

eg:

When are they going to eat?

Are they happy at last? …

(设计意图:复习、巩固课文,让学生从课文中找到问题、提出问题,同伴互答,激发学生学习自主性。)

a.Practice reading in pairs

b. Perform in pairs.

IV. Production

Help the Ss to make a poster.

T:We are going to have a trip. (Get the Ss to ask questions by “where, what, when, how…”)

S1: Where are we going to go?

T:You are going to go to Nanjiao Park.

S2: How are we going to go there?

T: You are going to go by bus.

S3: When are we going to meet?

T: You are going to meet at half past 7

S4: Where are we going to meet?

T: You are going to meet at school.

S4: What are we going to take?

T: You are going to take enough water and some food, maybe an umbrella.

Then get the Ss to write a poster in class.

The poster maybe like this:

Dear friends,

This weekend we are going to have a school trip. We are going to go to Dalian. We are going to go by bus. We are going to meet at half past 7 at school gate. We are going to take some enough water and some food, maybe an umbrella. We are going to have a good time there. Don’t be late.
