Warmer

1 Ask the students to think about what they can do on a computer. Write their suggestions on the board.

2 Now write this structure on the board.

You can … on a computer.

3 Get the students to look at the list on the board. Say that you are going to make a statement about one thing you can do on a computer.

e.g. T: You can do homework on a computer.

Teaching steps

1 After completing Activity1, put this table on the board.

2 Explain to the students that they have to write a list of the adjectives that are used in Activity1 to describe each computer.

3 Do an example with the class. Have the students look at the Amy’s part of the dialogue in Picture2. Get them to read the sentences. Then ask if they can see some adjectives in the sentences ( beautiful, purple).

4 Now have the students work in pairs and complete the table.

5 Now have the students work in pairs and talk about the computers based on the information in the table.

e.g. S1: The first computer is beautiful.

S2: It’s purple.

S3: But it’s not powerful.

6 Do a lot of examples.

7 Finish the Activity Book.

8 Homework.

课后反思: 全体学生的听说水平有了很大的提高。以课文为例子,为题材,以听说领先,读写重点练习为思路,长时期培养学生综合英语能力和水平。

本节课以运用为主,学生的活动非常明显地占主体地位。一切活动围绕听说读写,学生的练习与提高为中心。本课的题色地方之一是:学生根据老师提供的几个关键单词,在课堂这种气氛下,在老师的身体语言和全体学生的紧张的学习活动中非常快的记忆、表达,效果明显。
