教学内容:Unit 7 School Sports Day

教学内容分析:本课是新授课,要求学生能听说出运动类的名称,以及掌握两个句型He is running fast.和 He is running slowly.并初步运用于情景交际中。

教学目标:

(一)认知领域目标:

Structure: He is running fast.

He is running slowly.

Words: slowly, get, baton, fast, catch up, go for it, wave, across, field, fall over, still, team, winner.

Function: 1、Can name some sports.

2、Can describe the school sports.

(二)情感领域教学目标:

1、继续培养学生学习英语的兴趣,激发其热爱英语的热情。

2、通过学习本课的知识以及参与的活动,培养学生的参与意识,以及集体主义精神和团结互助精神。

(三)智力发展教学目标:

1、通过各种活动,培养学生的有意记忆和创造能力。

2、通过情景交际活动,培养学生用英语进行交际能力。

四、教学重点难点:对现在进行时时态的理解与深化。

五、媒体:电脑、图片(单词图片、动物图片)、接力棒、饭盒。

六、教学过程( Procedures):

Step 1 Warm-up (热身)

1、Greeting. (培养学生使用英语日常用语的习惯。)

2、Game: What’s he/she doing ?

(快速在学生面前闪过图片,然后让他们猜。此游戏的设计是为了学生复习前面所学的知识,同时也可调整一下学生的情绪,创造课堂气氛。)

Step 2 Presentation (呈现新课)

1、Tell a story :《the turtle and the dog》.

T: Today, I’ll tell you an interesting story. First, I want to know do you hear the story about the rabbit and the turtle. Now, my story also about running, but this time the turtle’s partner is the cat. Do you want to listen?

(自编比赛的小故事:乌龟与狗赛跑。比赛中,一只老鼠横穿赛道把狗撞倒,最后,狗还是赢了乌龟。在讲故事时,充分利用动物图片与身体语言学新单词。此故事的设计,是为吸引学生的注意力,提高其学习的乐趣的同时,为更好地学习理解新单词、短语和课文内容作出铺垫。)

Learn the new words: fast, slowly, go for it, fall over, catch up, still, winner, wave.

2、Show the title : Unit 7 School Sports Day

T: This is animal’s sport. Do you want to know our school sports? Now, Today, we’ll learn Unite 7 School Sports Day.

3、Show something to learn the new words.

(1) Show a baton, and ask: What’s it?

Game: get the baton.

(展示接力棒,并进行教学游戏,让他们感受get the baton的紧张与兴奋。)

(2) Show a lunch box and wave it, then ask: Whose lunch box is this?

(把预藏在袋里某一学生的饭盒拿出来,挥动它让学生进行猜它的主人。此环设计意图有利于新单词的教学,也使学生对wave有深的理解。同时学生在猜的过程中,复习并操练了Whose句型。)

4、Watch kingsun and think several questions.

(1) Who’s running slowly?

(2) Who’s waving a lunch box?

(3) Who are running across the field? What’s happening?

(4) Who’s the winner at last?

(播放课件,让学生带着问题听录音,有目的地听,既能激起学生的兴趣,又可启迪学生的思维,使学生学习的主体作用得以充分发挥。)

5、Repeat and answer the questions.

6、Learn the new words again,then read after the tape.

(听读录音带是为了让学生模仿朗读者的语音语调,尤其是把握其感情。)

7、Pair work, read the text together.

(在同桌互读中,学生能听到自己的声音,会注意调整自己的语音、语调,并在相互纠正中提高口语质量。另外通过多读,可以巩固本课的重点句型,促进语言知识的内化,使语言知识转化为学生的语言能力。)

Step 3 Practice(趣味操练)

Game: Listen and do.

(由于小学生自身心理特点,其注意力和集中力有一定时限,此游戏不但可以再次掀起兴趣,还可以巩固本节课的动词短语。)

Step 4 Add-activities(扩展性活动)

Our class sports meeting

(让每个组选出4个参赛者,进行组与组之间的接力比赛。赢了那两个组再进行比赛,最后选出一个获胜者。)

1、Check the class to use the right sentences : Go, go,go for it. Our team is the winner.

2、Select the pupils to describe the class sports meeting.

(在第一次比赛中,鼓励班的同学使用今天所学的知识为比赛者加油;在第二轮中,请学生用英语来描述赛事的情况。通过活动,有利于发展学生的合作意识和合作能力,还使学生的创造力得到发挥。)

Step 5 Homework

1. Copy the new words and read after the tape.

2. Work in groups: Describe our school sports day.
