教材分析：

1.基础教育阶段英语课程的任务指出：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力和合作精神；使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能，形成一定的综合语言运用能力；培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神；帮助学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异，拓展视野，培养爱国主义精神，形成健康的人生观，为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。

2.中西方文化同是世界文化宝库中的一部分，是联系中西人民感情的纽带和桥梁。根据课标所以我制定了本课学习目标之一：了解感恩节、万圣节等西方节日。拓展学生视野，构建正确的世界文化观。对与好的世界文化传统都要尊重、继承和发扬。

学情分析：

1.本节课通过继续学习英美国家的节日，在中西文化的交融中培养学生的跨文化意识，增强学生热爱祖国和弘扬中国传统文化的意识，以此提高英语学习的兴趣。

2.六年级的同学，在以往的学习中已经学过了一些关于英美国家的节日内容，如Christmas，Halloween，Mother’s Day等，通过复习和再学习，在口语操练中不断增加和拓宽交际内容，促进学生用英语思维，用英语做事的能力。

教学目标：

1.情感目标：学会用英语讨论和描述感恩节等中西方节日，进一步认识到中西方文化的差异，中西方文化都是世界文化遗产中宝贵的财富。

2.知识目标

（1）能理解、认读生词：festival, special, meal, sound。

（2）能理解和认读句子”We always have a special meal.””We say‘thank-you’ for our food,family and friends.”

3.语言技能目标

（1） 能阅读理解课文；

（2） 能模仿朗读课文。

（3） 能用口头运用”We always have a special meal. We say ‘thank-you’ for our food, family and friends.”这类语句介绍节日主要活动。

（4） 能书写单词”thank”。

4.情感态度目标

（1）能谈论和描述课文所介绍的节日，并产生对其他的西方节日的兴趣。

（2）能在积极参与活动、和他人合作完成任务的过程中获得学习乐趣和学习成就感。
