知识目标

1.初步感知词汇:small、fat、small.及语言结构:“They are + adj.”

2.复习句型“What's this?”及其回答“It's a (an)+名词单数。”

3.复习词汇:cat,dog,panda等动物名称词汇。

能力目标

1.运用 “What are they?”及其回答来描述更多的动物及特征。

2.运用名词复数形式的词汇以及相关的语言结构对一定数目的事物进行描述。

情感目标

培养学生对英语的兴趣

 Step 1 Warm up and revision

1. Greeting

T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you,today?

Ss: Fine,thank you.

Game:Guess who I am.(只出示动物身体的一小部分,让学生猜)

S:Panda/monkey/tiger/lion/elephant.

T: You answers quickly, here’s your sticker.(出示动物单复数的图片)

Ss:It’s a......./It’s an elephant.

 Step 2 Read the text.

T: Do you still remember what we learned the last class? Yes, about animals in the zoo,let’s read after the CD and review the lesson.(Read the text together)

OK,who wants to be the little teacher?(请几位语音较好的同学来带读课文)

T: Yes, your pronunciations are wonderful. Big hands for you!

Now please do role play with your partners.(小组内做角色扮演)

 Step 3 Practice

Game: 小小配音员(将声音关掉,请学生戴上头饰上台配音)Who wants to be a 配音员,帮助小动物们配音?(请几组同学上台表演)

T: You are good actors! Wonderful! Here are your stickers!

让学生拿出事先准备好的玩具。先将学生手中的各个玩具单词说一说,然后教师做示范请一名学生上讲台前,教师指着学生手中的玩具说: Look !It’s tiger.It’s big,之后,请几个能力较强的学生说说手中动物玩具。

Step 4 Extension

模仿秀

T:Today we are going to have a copy show. You can imitate any animal we learned, the rest of you should guess who they are.(请2-3位同学上台模仿动物的动作)

T: What are they?

Ss:They’re .....(给予表演的同学贴纸奖励)
